I'm just hoping the 29th ranked 215 pounder comes out for wrestling this season.

He is, in his own words, #1 a football player, #2 a track athlete, #3 a wrestler.

1. its a great "concept" 2. how far are you going to rank wrestlers as most likely all 32 probably wont come to wrestle in the tournament. 3. When will the deadline be that a wrestler has to commit to wrestling in the tournament? 4. I think your going to have to rank around 64 wrestlers for this to be a success its gonna be tough.

Rankings are always hard to do so props but just for some contructive criticism, these rankings have a touch of NY bias in them. And that is coming from a NY fan

just because someone beat someone once. especially in a summer tourny or even just one time during the season. doesnt mean someone should be ranked ahead of the person they beat. or should be ranked ahead of the kid who they beat who they beat who they beat

Paul, I'd say with any rankings how can these kids get ranked if they don't ever compete nationally and be known and beat some other top national talent. No one is doubting PA's depth but I might be the best checker player ever but not go to any checker tournaments and then want to convince people I can play checkers with the best in the country. Wanna be ranked? Go to nationals that warrant rankings. There are a ton of opportunities these days, disney, fargo, S32, NWCA Duals, JR Cadet Duals, FS regional tournaments, ect.
I can't afford to go to all these tournaments. Its hard enough to make my house payment...

At the Powerade or states Joe Lascari has wins over these studs.
Eric Galloway = 10-0
Frank Goodwin = 12-3
Simon Rice = 11-1
Tyler Buckman = 8-6
Frank Martellotti = 3-2
Tyler Small = 4-0
Derek Brothers= 4-2
He also beat AJ Schopp and Patrick Myers back in 2008. I have no dog in this fight and have never met the kid, I was just surprised that he was not on this list. the rest of your list looks great, winter can't come fast enough.
i know joey lascari personally (as well as his 3 older brothers) and yes he is a senior this year and yes he should be ranked. he was the top seed at the powerade touranment last year but didn't get to wrestle in it because of a shattered elbow which bothered him for much of the season. believe me, he will be right in the mix for a state title this year in PA.

At the Powerade or states Joe Lascari has wins over these studs.
Eric Galloway = 10-0
Frank Goodwin = 12-3
Simon Rice = 11-1
Tyler Buckman = 8-6
Frank Martellotti = 3-2
Tyler Small = 4-0
Derek Brothers= 4-2
He also beat AJ Schopp and Patrick Myers back in 2008. I have no dog in this fight and have never met the kid, I was just surprised that he was not on this list. the rest of your list looks great, winter can't come fast enough.

I'd say be patient guys don't be too quick to judge just yet, its preseason and these things will come a long way during and after the season. If they are good they'll get ranked. Just be patient. Also that is only the seniors, there are gonna be FR, SO and JR as well then combining them will be the final step.

wow are you missing alot of pa studs! Nick Roberts, Jimmy Gulibon, Nico Megaludis, Zack Horan, Luke Frey, Mason Beckman, Joe Lascari, Nick Hogason, Geoff Alexzander, Kenny Courts, Arty Walsh, RJ Malson. All of these guys are state champs or top 5 in pa. and have placed or won in national tournaments.

There are a ton of opportunities these days, disney, fargo, S32, NWCA Duals, JR Cadet Duals, FS regional tournaments, ect.

what guidlines are being used for a national ranking? Here in PA the depth is incredible. You have kids who don't go to fargo or va beach, which are tournaments used to rank kids nationally. These kids can go with anyone though. So my question is how can do you come to the top 50 kids and then widdle it down to 32? Not to sound rediculous but PA kids can fill many of those spots. How will you find these kids who are deserving of wrestling in your tournament not just in PA but in other states as well?
