Joe Jamison? Andy Lausier? Is he serious? Add that to the difficulty getting in to Princeton, and you have an uphill battle to say the least.

WHY WHY WHY   August 5 at 8:08pm
Why does Ayers have such a mediocre (at best) coaching staff? How is he going to attract the better wrestlers in the country like that? Harvard Cornell UPenn all have a better coaching staff. He has no chance at suceeding there.

Love his story. Great motivation for all kids. Especially, after experiencing the pain of defeat.

Ayres left the Grace Hall mats as an all-american and as Lehigh's leader in all time wins ( I think this second point is right). He had 120 wins for Lehigh, of which at least 5 were over NCAA finalists. His victories included 16 wins over all-americans.

Not bad for a kid who didn't place in high school. He also won the Easterns, where his lowest place was 3rd, and his two second place finishes came against a national champ and an NCAA 3rd placer (who probably ought to have won).
Upside indeed. Can he find a few more like him? We'll even take someone who did place in hs. :)
