Joel's last comment sums Joel up in one word, CHARACTER. Before my senior year I attended Iowa's intensive training camp where Joel was my counselor it was at camp where I learned what it took to become a champion. I look forward to Joel coming back to Navy. Semper Fi!

Joel is a warrior and would have made a great Marine. He continues to be one of the finest coaches I have ever worked with and the Air Force Academy is extremely fortunate to have him leading their team.

Joel is doing an incredible job building a wrestling team and pulling them together in unconventional ways. I believe his team is going to realize their potential under his leadership and coaching styles. They will be the better wrestlers and leaders for the experience. Inspiring interview...
