My sources tell me Jordan Oliver wants to have an impact on the school and program, no just be another # at Okie State. There are Easton alumni at Bloomsburg. But one major factor is Bloomsburg had more All-Americans last year than Okie State. Training with 2010 National Champ Matt Moley??? Why would you want to train with a worn out J. Smith our pretty boy E. Guerro.

Bloomsburg makes it happen. Its that simple.

Sutz loves wrestling, he loves to coach guys that love to wrestle, he loves to train his team hard and he loves wrestlers that train hard. This is why he gets so many recruits. They want to come and train/wrestle his style. If you can bring in 15 kids with 4.4 scholarships then your doing something great. You are always going to have kids that think they can handle it. It's not for everyone, not everyone is going to buy into his stystem, so you want to bring in as many kids as you can. To be perfectly honest at this level you either want to live the right life style and train hard or your just relying on your talent. Stutz could bring in the most talented wrestlers from highschool, but it's obvious that if you dont train hard you wont succeed at this level. So I dont believe he is looking at the wrong guys, he's trying to find tough guys that want to train hard and he can mold into a true competitor. Trust me I would know because I wrestled for the man.

When you have 4.4 scholarships most of the 15 are walk ons so get your facts straight. What he does with limited resources and to competye at a high level is amazing. Division 1 wrestling is not for everyone and some want to try it out and he allows them to do it. Everyone has there problems but you need bodies in the room and that is what coach does gives kids a chance. No one out works him and he only wants kids who love to wrestle year around 365/12/7

"15 every yeah and let the best guys make it", assuming that you are going to have people fail why bring them in? I think coach stutzman is looking at the wrong guys.. why dont you bring in 15 guys that "make it" if you accept kids failing then your failing as a coach.

We caught up with Bloomsburg head coach John Stutzman at the 2009 US Open where he had some of his boys competing. Here Coach Stutzman talks a little about Bloomsburg's performance during the 2008-09 NCAA season where 157 pounder Matt Moley All-Americaned at maybe the toughest weight class. He also goes into who is returning and some incoming freshman.
