Video of me and Dennis Hall in the dual meet at Hartford. We met again this year at State Tournament, (video is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_Px3fx6DzU). We would meet a couple weeks later at State. Sorry for the slight focus problem. Camcorders weren't so great in 87. The noise from the crowd is unreal. I think there were like 3000 people packed into that tiny gym. It was the one time in my life where the noise from the crowd was so loud that it actually hurt my ears during the match. Dennis was without a doubt the toughest competition I faced until getting into college and was incredible upper body (obviously shown by his impressive silver in Greco Olympics).

However, At age 19 Dennis made the World Team. He left the University of Wisconsin because of the lack of coaching and went on to be a World Champion and Olympic Silver Medalist.
