While in the Eierman Elite wrestling room, Mike Eierman showed us a few looks at the crotch lift series. Mike shows us some freestyle and folkstyle variations of the crotch lift and then goes into some defense. We also get to hear a little bit about his approach to teaching wrestling that is different from many rooms.
for the posters who felt that mike was a little long winded for the youngsters he was coaching: common sense would suggest that he probably went more in depth with his explanations because he was being filmed and wanted to give the viewers a taste of his philosophy. as far as the "technique" vs "basics" argument...i don't get it. it's ALL "technique". "technique" becomes "basic" to the culture (wrestling) at large as more and more wrestlers start using it (the technique). "technique" becomes "basic" to the individual the more comfortable the individual is with using that "technique". so - "basic" to me might not be "basic" to you. "basic" to you might appear highly advanced to me.
You are a carp that just nibbled on a boiley on an expert fisherman's line.
Socially inept,
Based on this week's responses, I would imagine many of you stumbled on Technique Tuesay by accident due to a typo in your search for "crotch lick" techniques. Oftentimes I find it hard to decipher the jr. high girls trying to text each other from actual wrestlers or coaches. Perhaps you all should meet at a mall, have a smoothie, and discuss what your thing is. Awsome!

Good job Mike!
