Can I have your source of this information. I do not believe this is fact but since you state it as fact as well as so many others have stated the same thing, I simply would like to see the source to verify this. Thank you.

there is 0 chance of any of that happening. Considering everyone thought borelli was gone last season, including his assistants, i think your incorrect.

John Mahar To Truth   April 24 at 6:30am
Borrelli has used other universities to get leverage when negotiating his own contract. All it takes is an interview at Maryland or Ohio State and he's got an additional 25k annually for doing those interviews. He was offered the position at OSU and turned it down. The Truth is he's gonna be at CMU until he retires then Casey Cunningham will take over w/ Wynn Michalak as asst. Within the next 5-7 yrs...watch.

Socially inept,
Let's consider the elephant in the livingroom you have all neglected. It can be summed up with this Gordon Lightfoot lyric: "the legend lives on from the Chippewa on down, to the big lake they call Kichicumie." Think about it. Must it be spelled out?

He's tried to bail outta cmu forever. Applied to the Ohio State Job, Applied and almost got the maryland job, now, again, jobs are open and he's trying to get out. Only thing holding him back is his age and his lack of wrestling success as an athlete. One of these programs will get smart and hire him, too bad for the chips too. Their athletic department is a joke.

No way would they drop wrestling if he left. Wrestling is the most successful sport that CMU has. They are one of the better programs in the country year in and year out, much to the thanks of Borelli who is an amazing coach. Could Borelli go to ISU and have success and contend for titles? No doubt about it but he has a perfect setup at cmu. He has a great facility, unending support of the faculty, and a student body that loves their wrestling. Don't go Coach!

Moving On   April 23 at 10:49am
I feel that as a coach you need to do what is best for you. Just stinks if he leaves guys like Sentes behind if he goes. When a guy signs on the line expecting to be coached by you then you leave that is not good. What about Taylor at Iowa State? He staying of moving over to Penn State now???

Zeb, since when did you become a lawyer? "At no time was I or Coach Borrelli aware of any wrong doing"

At no point in time did coach Borrelli indicate a move from CMU on or off camera. But can't blame a guy for looking and thinking about it!

I Wonder   April 22 at 10:59pm
This sounds like a guy who wants the job at Iowa State. He would win there I believe and be just the type of guy who deserves to coach all of that talent.
