A wise man once told Daniel never to think about your last tournament. It should be like he will wrestle forever.

The individualism and accountability of wrestling made him love and follow the sport. In college he wrestled at Oklahoma State where he was a NCAA finalist losing to Cael Sanderson. Since college he has ruled in the US at his freestyle weight. In 2004 Athens Olympics he narrowly missed going to the finals and then narrowly missed medaling.
