David is a beast. He deserves a full ride at any school he wrestles at.

What amazes me, is that the state of texas has talent like this and no d1 program to take advantage of it. Just imagine if either UT or Texas AM had teams that kept talent in the state and extended their rivalries on the gridiron with OU and Ok St. to the wrestling mat. I think it would be insanity.

It's sad that the sport doesn't take hold in such a talent rich area. I don't think that with the Texas schools it's because of Title IX but rather football. I heard some crazy statistic, and I may be inaccurate in the exact numbers but it's something like this: the UT football team costs roughly $20 million to fully fund - scholarships, facilities, coaches - and with TV contracts, sponsorships, and other revenue generate close to $50 million. I find it hard to believe that they cannot fund a wrestling team, especially during such a volatile time for the sport. It would be absolutely awesome to see a big football school - anywhere, not just in Texas - step up and use some of the money that their football programs generate to expand their athletic programs both men's and women's.

Wishful thinking I guess slash I just hope some people see/read this and react.

This match was sweet to, Turtogtogh Lovsandorj has some good stuff. Henry was part of what I thought were a couple of the most fun matches to watch during the tournament.

160 lbs hs finals, David Henry, St Marks, vs Turtogtogh Luvsandorj, St Benedicts,
