#66	All Caldwell Haters October 22 at 11:06am U all need to shut your mouth with all this woulda coulda shoulda stuff!!! It gets really old!! the bottom lines is that caldwell is 2-1 agains brent!!! And caldwell just didnt win in the finals last year he broke brent and got him so mad that he wanted to push him off the mat!!! and check the clock time was out and even if it wasnt which it was brent is not comin back in two seconds, lose with grace and let caldwell have his moment and stop crying!!! reply

He figures out his opponent within the first few seconds and either goes for takedown points or to just get the fall. Either way he doesn't let the other guy control the match. I don't see anybody in his way for ncaa title again. reply

There at the end Metcalf is even trying to convince the ref to get the match going. Just about everyone that wrestles Metcalf looks like this. He is a machine. reply

#14	Doug January 19 at 8:26am It is nice to see Metcalf working for a pin. I have seen Metcalf trying to turn someone while simultaneously trapping a leg preventing the turn. It seems he is working on releasing the legs to allow the turn. This can only help him in the long run. Also if he wants to take that next step to an Olympic medal I think turning skills are going to be critical. reply

He was undefeated in high school wrestling with 4 Michigan state titles. He also earned 6 junior national titles in the Olympic… + See More - See Less - Brent Metcalf is one of the most anticipated recruits to enter college. He was undefeated in high school wrestling with 4 Michigan state titles. He also earned 6 junior national titles in the Olympic style of wrestling. College fans across the nation had to wait an extra year to see his return because he transfered to Iowa and was denied his freshman season by his former school. In 2008 he won the 149lb National Championship and was named the Dan Hodge Trophy winner.
