- See Less -Chris Bono came from a wrestling family where he had an older brother who wrestled. At the age of 5 Chris Bono had immediate success in the sport. He was a 3x State Champion from Florida and was a Cadet National Runner-up and Junior National All-American.
He went on to become a 3x All American in college and was a national champion in 1996 under Bobby Douglas at Iowa State. Currently Chris Bono is the head coach from the University of Tennessee and competing international hoping to fulffill his dream of being an Olympic Champion.
