Schalles makes the same relaxation point on his Legal Pain videos, very briefly. He notes that if you're tied up and really tense, you have to release the tension and back off a bit to create space to shoot. When this happens, every decent wrestler feels it instantly and adjusts to counter your shot which he now "feels" coming. Not to mention Slay's point that it comes slower too. So tension is a double negative whammy. Slower shot and tip off to opponent

To be able to move, you got to relax. If you cant relax your muscles are tense and your reaction time goes down. Listening to White Zombie might get you pumped up, but you wont be able to wrestle to the best of your ability.
