If I would have made weight and all of my opponents would have been doping, I would have won Olympic Gold too!

Mike - please know, I'm totally for the Ohio training center. You are EXACTLY right by saying, "With 14 spots available you need other facilities to to train more athletes." Again, you are right on. However, those Regional Training Centers have not been decided upon yet. At the moment, any University could say they are a Regional Training Center. For example, my alma mater UPENN could say they are the UPENN Regional Training Center, and they might have some freestyle guys training there, but they are not an official USAW stamped training center.

Actually, I was just in Waterloo, IA last weekend at the Northern Plains Regional coaching one of Resident wrestlers, Derek Garcia, and I assisted in coaching JD Bergman to his Title. JD wrestled great, and he knows I totally support all he is doing in Ohio. JD Bergman, Shawn Bunch, and Lou Roselli know that I totally support all they are doing in Columbus.
My point was this: at USAW, we have not officially decided where the official Regional Training Centers will be located. If anyone says they are an officially funded Regional Training Center, it is not true. An official Regional Training Center will pay wrestlers extra monthly stipends for committing to train in a full time freestyle environment with full time freestyle coaches and partners. The OTC is the only place at that the moment that has been confirmed as an official Regional Training Center. My statement regarding Ohio's training center wasn't meant to be negative AT ALL. It was simply meant to clarify what a Regional Training Center is and will be.
I appreciate you candor.

Doesn't seem he has much good to say about the Ohio Regional Training Center. With only 14 spots available you need other facilities to train more athletes.
