actually Easton's last time at the Ironman in Ohio was 1996 when they took 3rd, in 1995 they took 4th and in the first Ironman in 1994 Easton took 4th. The Red Rovers are welcome back any time !! Ironman has changed alot from those early days, not 16 teams anymore, this year on December 7 & 8, 35 full teams and 22 partials usually consisting of 1, 2, 3 or 4 wrestlers each-- teams come from as far as California and 17 states. Only state tournament refs, 2 per mat, mostly from Ohio but quite a few from PA too. Double elimination, tons of colege coaches. Its where Blair's 6 year unbeaten streak was finally broken last year (by st Eds), its the only place Blair gets real competition in a tourn, the last 3 years close team races-- and should be same this year with Blair and st Paris Graham Ohio fighting it out for # 1. --- Easton as well as other good PA teams always welcome. s/BobP

You have to respect a program that does not duck anyone. It seems the strength of the program is a result of the strong schedule.
