What's the point of this?

Is the 7min run supposed to take place of the match? That is nothing, it was at her own pace, and she didn't have another opponent coming at here. There are no nerves involved with running around a track. There are a lot of nerves when you step on the mat especially for the first time.

Thanks Jen, for a great documentary. I will try to get our HS coaches to show this to our wrestlers before season. I will definitely get the link out to wrestling parents so they will be more aware of what their boys are doing. One suggestion, misery enjoys company...next time get the stat girls to join you :)

you won't be able to sleep good if you do not eat the night before. Running is always a good thing and it will keep you fresh and on your feet the day of your match.

Armspin, If running is killing you the day of a match. You are either out of shape or cutting weight the wrong way.

i completely disagree with running the day of i rather not eat the night before cause when you run the day of competition it just kills you
