I do think that the weak academics help an athlete to focus more on wrestling

I don't understand whats to bash about cmu wrestling. The coach has kids over achevice and finds the guys who fit his system even when there down they still will probaly win confrence. Borelli is probaly the most respected coach in the ncaa

LoL its ok Joe all that guy does with his life is post on flo. and rip people who are 100x the wrestler than he ever was. Just like all we do here at CMU is play video games! Our early morning workouts consist of playing Wii until its lunch time.

Old Timer... Did you read Jen's post?

She was the one doing the interview... I don't think calling CMU's staff "Dumbass" is a great idea.

"you should practice not to get stuck." And you are pulling for our team? The kid is a true freshman handling the 2nd ranked wrestler in the country, and you make an uneducated comment on his work ethic. Thats classy...

Just a little clarification on these videos. They won't always be serious interviews in the wrestling room, we see plenty of that! Part of the idea behind Checking In With the Chippewas, is to follow their season while also letting fans know the personalities of the guys. It was my idea to shoot this interview while the guys were relaxing and playing mario tennis, so I took no offense to their lack of attention, in fact found it humorous.

Sorry for the delay in videos, the kinks of equipment and a few other things have been worked out, so expect to see a lot more coverage. Again some pieces will have a serious tone while others will really let you into the team atmosphere! Feel free to send me any suggestions on what you want to know about the team. Expect a lot more to come and hope you enjoy!

On Stage December 3, 2008 at 4:59am.
No surprise that these guys are wanting to do something different from their focus from the meet. They are trying to get out of the mindset of being on stage. Like how Scott said that they still have their former champs around to support their team. Fun interview. Got to take the opportunity to catch them when you can.
