I agree with your point about Ryan harnessing Ohio high school wrestling's power. As for the depth of states, that can be argued, but Ohio is the MOST top heavy state in the country. Ohio's best are enough for any college team and things are only going to get better.

Ohio St should be contending witht the amount of high school talent that is in Ohio and the surrounding states. He just has to first get them to come to Ohio St and then harness that talent into competitive college wrestling. He does great marketing OSU but only time will tell if he can get it done. I hope he does. It would be nice to have other teams competing for the team title every march besides Iowa, MN and OSU.

Tom Ryan is a winner and will have the Buckeyes contending for a National championship every year. His ability to recruit and the job he did at Hofstra must make the Buckeye fans real optimistic.

Good turnout...hopefully more schools outside of Iowa can get bigger crowds. Got to get more fans to the meets to get more guys wrestling! I believe we had around 7500 for the dual against Penn State last Sunday.

Somewhere around 4300. It was definitely sweet. I'd like to think that over the next few years, as we continue to pull in GREAT recruits, attendance will go up. We shall see.

Ronald: Much to their (tOSU fans) shame, they don't. At least not yet. That was a top 3 crowd that night.

At the Wisconsin Dual, we had just shy of 800. We'll see what happens when #8 Penn State arrives Friday night (1/25).

Go Buckeyes!!!

shows a nice crowd but I think Iowa took it to em. Wonder if the fans would show up like that if Iowa was not in town.
