The difference between the two programs is uofm has people in the semi's and finals almost every season, CMU has yet to do that. However, CMU always puts together a solid lineup, all the way through. Which is why they have beaten uofm more often than not in the past 5 years. Your post is highly uninformed. reply

That guy has the mindset for a developing a great wrestling program, hell they can probably beat UM. and being from ohio that is always a good thing. This guy has a great attitude for the sport and it probably is the same way with all the sports programs that he directs. good stuff! reply

Dave Heeke is the athletic director for Central Michigan and explains how Central Michigan is able to compete against Division 1 wrestling programs throughout the nation. He goes into explaining how the reason behind the success of the program starts with Tom Borrelli. CMU's wrestling team sets high expectations and a standard of excellence throughout its athletic department.
