- See Less -Mean Gene Mills was a 4X AA for Syracuse University (3-4-1-1*OW) and a '76 New Jersey State Champion. After winning his first NCAA Title for Syracuse Gen Mills took an Olympic redshirt and made the 1980 Olympic team, only for the Moscow games to be boycotted by the USA. In 1981he won a 2nd NCAA title & was named O.W. Gene also won the prestigous Tblisi tournament, that is legendary for being the toughest tournament in the world. Gene is known for his pinning style and recently led his team Phoenix (NY) Firebirds to the state championships as a head coach in 2008. Gene also runs the Pin2Win Club. His Pin2Win Summer wrestling camp is held at Camp Maple Lake, the former home of the USA & Olympic Training Camp in Estella, PA, in the 60's, 70's, & 1980. It was run by the late Russ Houck, former Bloomsburg coach He remains one of the most dominant personalities in wrestling still today.
