1979 & 1981 NCAA champion Gene Mills takes on Anatoli Beloglazov of the Soviet Union at the 1981 World Cup.

Beloglazov was the 1980 Olympic champion in Moscow. Gene Mills was the 1980 Olympian for the United States but was denied his chance to compete due to the United States boycott of the 1980 Summer Games.

After winning his first NCAA Title for Syracuse Gen Mills took an Olympic redshirt and made the 1980 Olympic team, only for the Moscow games to be boycotted by the USA. In 1981he won a 2nd NCAA title & was named O.W. Gene also won the prestigous Tblisi tournament, that is legendary for being the toughest tournament in the world. Gene is known for his pinning style and recently led his team Phoenix (NY) Firebirds to the state championships as a head coach in 2008. Gene also runs the Pin2Win Club. His Pin2Win Summer wrestling camp is held at Camp Maple Lake, the former home of the USA & Olympic Training Camp in Estella, PA, in the 60's, 70's, & 1980. It was run by the late Russ Houck, former Bloomsburg coach He remains one of the most dominant personalities in wrestling still today. http://www.genemills.com
