I quit the team, but earned my dad's respect. When my kid wrestles, I won't make him cut weight when he's 4. p.s. I don't know if I spelled my name right :) reply

Jeremy Spates is moving from the University of Oklahoma to Cornell where is will be an assistant coach under Rob Koll. In his last days in Oklahoma Jeremy got his brother and roommate to help him take up the carpet and put down new floors before he left town. He talks about the bitter-sweet situation of his move.

Bio:	Jeremy Spates at a very early age had been exposed to the best wrestlers in the country and even the world. And by the time he entered college he had been at the NCAA championships eight or so times as a spectator. He took this experience and became a solid leader for the up and coming University of Missouri Tigers. As a three time captain Jeremy contributed to a complete turnaround of a program that had been year in and year out near or at the bottom of the Big 12 conference. He now is taking that leadership and is coaching the Oklahoma University Sooners.
