Thats on a good day, those boys run it in Blizzards (literally) too. One of my fav workouts, but I def agree...you cannot appreciate the difficulty until you've seen it and done it yourself.

The "incline" is much, much tougher than a video can show. Unless you go up it you cannot even understand how tough it is. No air, huge steps, and almost straight up. If you ever go to Co Springs you NEED to take a shot at that mountain.

Road to Baku: Cog Hill

The road to Baku has us going through a lot of pain. This 15 minute workout that the US world team and some Canadians went through is known as "The Cog". There are two types of Cog workouts, one where you just run straight to the top. Good times can range anywhere in the low 20 minute range to 30 or so minutes. In this video the world team is doing sets of sprints based on time, not distance.
