+ See More - See Less -Cael Sanderson, the new Iowa State Cyclone Head Coach, has had quite the journey. As a freshman at Iowa State, under head coach Bobby Douglas, Cael stepped onto the mat for his first collegiate bout and began a streak of continuous victories that never ended. He competed through what is considered the most grueling wrestling, collegiate wrestling, for four years and always ended on top. He finished his career 159-0.
Cael Sanderson is the only wrestler ever to be a four time undefeated national champion. He then went on to the Olympics and, in a story book fashion, took home the gold medal.
At the Age of 26, Cael Sanderson is the head coach for Iowa State Cyclones, one of the most successful wrestling programs in American History.
