There is an uncanny resemblance to John Smith. I'm sure some of that is a rub-off from Coach Smith's calm demeanor, some also a coincidence. Strange how Okla St style is a stark contrast to Iowa style.

Got a feeling the Cowboys will be comin back strong in 2009-10.

Eric has coached at Oklahoma State University since 2000, the first four years as a strength and conditioning coach, and since 2004 as an Assistant Coach. This great former three time NCAA champion with his understanding of wrestling as a competitor and as a coach is well positionedl to take over a wrestling program as a head coach in another program in Division I wrestling, although OSU fans will happily keep him for a long time.

The label to this video should read: "There has been a 'distinct' change in tactics . . . " Extinct is like the dinosaurs. Awesome stuff, Mr. Guerrero has shown a standard for excellence for many years now and is a great asset to American wrestling.

Just saw this. I've known E since little league and actually, he sounds, pauses and has the manuerisms of his dad, Sabastian. With a hint of Oklahoma.

He doesnt sound bitter to me either. He sounds like someone who looks back at the year and wonders how he can improve as a coach. Im not even an Aggie. Im a Sooner. But this is a staff that is never complacent, that seeks to improve not just maintain.

Let's not attack. he did not take away Valenti's win in any way. He simply stated that Valenti and Moore from Davis won because of how they performed on the mat. Of course Valenti proved to be the better wrestler, but just listening to Guerrero's insights as the the shift of wrestling is what is neat to hear. Let's not point the finger here! I do agree that he sounds just like John Smith.

I thought I was the only crazy one...but he did morph into John Smith. He talks like him and even uses the same gestures...weird! Click on Smith's interviews after this one and you will see.

it sounded to me like he was trying to take away the validity of valenti's win because he didnt have a takedown and scott did. There is top, bottom, and neutral. Valenti was best at 2 out of three, and won the title. Simple as that.

he sounds bitter about scott. I dont know what he expcets, coleman gave up that reversal at the end of the first, and couldnt escape. Wrestling has MANY aspects. It's not who has the best high crotch/low single. Sorry, but he bothered me there.
