With these facilities it's amazing Army is not more competitive. I realize many kids are turned off because it's a military institution but this place has great academics and great wrestling facilities. Sounds pretty attractive for top wrestlers.

I've seen the wrestling room before, but this was my first tour. Very impressive. If we had this facility in the "old days", I don't think I would have ever lost a match. Great job, coach. By the way, when I have an extra million, it's coming your way.

Chuck: I've been watching the Army wrestling team improve steadily since you arrived and I'm very encouraged about the job you and your staff are doing. There are so many tournaments now that there are fewer opportunities to see a meet from as far away as Pittsburgh. Keep up the good work, and, for crying out loud, IT'S TIME TO BEAT NAVY. I'LL COME OUT OF RETIREMENT IF I HAVE TO.

Excellent tour. Wow. Things have really changed since '60-'64...clearly for the better. Glad you mentioned Mike Natvig. We packed the gym every meet to see him dominate. He and his teammates inspired the Corps.
Chuck - you, your coaching staff, and the cadet wrestlers are carrying the banner of excellence very high. You all are great role models for us grads.
