#1 ReAliT March 20, 2008 at 6:08pm. If he entered the competition with a record of 8-9, and won 5 matches, he was a national champion with a record of 13-8, which is a winning record. Many people use this as a trivia question, to which the correct answer(no national champion had a losing record). He is however, the first to ENTER the tournament with a losing record and win a national title. Congratulations Mark! on a great career.
