John Smith is the man. Really enlightening to listen to a guy who is laid back and tries to improve. You'd never know he's the greatest American wrestler ever. No ego at all, amazing.

So many times these coaches get consumed with the winning and losing. Rightfully so, the competition is fierce and these guys are so successful and getting their kids to be successful, they're just driven.

What gets lost is the unbelievable impact they've made in the lives of young men. In today's world where there's a 50% divorce rate and young men are raised more and more by women, a good, strong role model is SO important.
Kudo's to Smith and the work he does.

Hey Flo, first off, you really do a great job.I would just like to encourage more interviews with the greats like Smith. Seems like this year there was a lot more of lil school coverage, which is cool but i remember when I first started watching flo there was a lot of the big dogs. I would just like to encourage more insight from them.

Just tons of wisdom coming from this guy every time he opens his mouth.

Could you imagine being John Smith's kids coach. Little nerve racking.

Olympic champ talking about ordering online videos to get better!

Coach Smith is one of the best people I know. Not only does he produce All-Americans and National Champions, and Team Champions, but he produces quality MEN, and puts them into the world. I came to Stillwater a boy and came out a man. A great wrestler, but more important a great man.
