What does he say when he's talking about football at the end?
It seems kind of garbled... if anybody can tell me that'd be great
besides that; amazing storyteller.

ha ha, I love how he talks about beating guys in a street fight and then fighting in basketball! what a beast, a natural born brawler. I think the discipline policy sounded great as well :)

What a GREAT story teller! One would never guess by all of the accolades listed in the caption that this is the way Wayne Baughman started wrestling, so ironic! Man, I wanted to wrestle in 7th grade, joined the team, wrestled many years, loved it, and still stunk! Here is a guy who didnt want anything to do with it and turns out to be one of the greatest US wrestlers in history, it's just crazy. How about the part about the 2 coaches said they would take him out back and beat the heck out of him if he wasn't obedient, NOW THOSE WERE THE GOLDEN DAYS OF THIS NATION! Have to get more interviews from Baughman Matin about his career beyond high school, he is such a great storyteller!

Wayne Baughman "Fate"

September 5, 2008
While at the University of Oklahoma, Baughman won an NCAA title, was a three-time All-American and a two-time Big 8 Champion. As an amateur wrestler, Baughman's record is among the best ever. In 25 national championships, he never finished lower than third. He claimed 16 firsts, 7 seconds and 2 third-place finishes. He was a competitor on three U.S. Olympic Teams (1964, 1968 and 1972), eight World Championship teams and a Pan American squad. He is the only wrestler to win national championships in four different wrestling styles (freestyle, Greco-Roman, collegiate and sombo). This is how he began his career as a wrestler.
