I posted this match because of the way Murtazaliev moves. Most light heavies don't move like this guy. He wrestles like a lightweight. I'm partial to smaller guys too so they'll be more of those in the future, but I wanted to try and cover all weights for now. reply

#1	Craig Vitagliano March 25 at 10:35pm This week I am choosing the 97 kg prelim bout at the 2000 European Championships featuring Russia's Sagid Murtazaliev and Georgia's Eldari Kurtanidze. Murtazaliev was a World and Olympic Champion for Russia and Kurtanidze was a 2 x World Champion for Georgia. It's a great bout. Kurtanidze is real strong and doesn't make many mistakes. Murtazaliev is another one of those guys who has that "feel" for wrestling and certainly doesn't move around and wrestle like a light heavyweight. Watch for the set ups Murtazaliev uses to get Kurtanidze out of position to set up his high crotch attacks. BTW nice defense by Murtazaliev ~ 4:50 mark. reply
