He is doing it much too quick, its a bad angle, and hes not explaining it properly.

Its not really a back step, its a side step (to simulate an outside single attack on the other leg). If you look closely (angle sux) hes stepping to the side.
Two, i dont think there is any reason to slide in on two knees. You can drive off that outside food hard and deep enough and still plant the outside leg to drive off of and come up. Hes shooting it too far away in the demo, and i doubt he shoots that far away in matches.

He's not explaining his misdirection step well enough, or doing it slow enough in this video. I think someone on here said that he's "making it look easy." That's becausee he's rushing the technique, and doing it way too quick to see. The initial movement, and getting that guy to step is the key to making this work. Otherwise this just looks like a high crotch. Slow it down Tyrone!!!! It's an awesome setup, but I can't appreciate the art without a little slow motion.

I am an Iowa fan, but, I have to say, Oklahoma State sure is putting more technique on this site than Iowa, all I've found from Iowa is some interviews with Coach Brands, Coach Gable, or some conditioning video, or old NCAA clips.
