did you see that guy with the basketball totally blow a couple of shots? Good thing he is a wrestler. That aside, sweet interview. This was very interesting!

rooney, you are mistaken..have you seen how our guys get spun like tops in par terre? bottom position is so different in folk/free. On their feet it is more similar, but saying they aren't much different is wrong.

first off freestyle and folkstyle aren't that much different. once you know how to do one you know how to do the other style.

I wrestled with Michael in this club a few years ago. He's a great guy. That club is set up in a high rise and is totally wild.

In addition to my last post: Most wrestlers will spent 20 years learning folkstyle. If those same 20 years were spent learning freestyle...you get the idea.

Russians are the best because they start wrestling free style and greco from the beginning. Lots of American wrestlers don't start wrestling free style or greco until after college or when it comes close to an olympic year (ie Jake Herbert). If American's did not wrestle folkstyle, we would be just as good.
