Not only interesting and funny - he has a heck of a lot to say about where wrestling should be in the state and in this country, and all of it is good.

Weirdly, it is the youth coaches that get their kids for the longest time, who have the chance to instill a system and stick to it for 8-10 years, to nurture these kids slowly; keep the fun in it while keeping out the pressure.
And yet our youth coaches are for the most part the weakest link in our sport. Many are win at any costs right now types who don't understand or care about systems or the psyches of children or the long-term. So many kids suffer burn out because of the constant pressure.
Ray speaks truth. We could transform wrestling in this country, make it better and make it much more fun.
