Ya, Welch plays with these guys. He lets them off their back all the time. He finished with a 143 match winning streak.

Are you kiding? California state is a single division state. New Jersey has like what? 3 different divisions? and only like 20 schools per division??? HA!(Plus the only tough schools in New Jersey is Blair Academy and Jackson Memorial)

Winston barely wins?!?! haha he went 137-0 in his high career. Oh yeah and Jersey is tougher than Cali, not even close.

scott winston is a good wrestler, but i doubt he could beat welch, welch is wrestling scrubs, but at the same time hes not going fullout, hes just tooling them, where winston is always going at it and barely winning. but itd be a good match

Winston will finish those shots and if this kid can get in on them than scott definitely can. In both videos he was wrestling against scrubs that were gassed the whole time. Scotty will prove he is number one.

Welch must have some phenomenal leg strength. Montoya had a super deep pick and then ends up on his back??!!! Welch wrestles like water. The takedown by the BHS wrestler was quite nice, but didn't rattle Welch at all.

Google you're just pissed cus Facebook has stolen your thunder. Just because he didn't lift him off the mat or twist him up like a pretzel doesn't mean it wasn't a takedown. He showed that he can compete.

He probably hasn't been taken down by a high school opponent all year. He did, as we all know, take down the #1 NCAA wrestler in the nation at 157's.
Northwestern is lucky.
