by the way, I'm the "Anonymous Coward" I just forgot to put my name in
Strange beat a lot of good guys during his career, but couldn't have asked for a worse draw at the NCAA's his Senior year. That's a shame.
However, it's a enjoyment to see him during very well today.
Let me reiterate that Bland only wrestled part time%u2026.Yes PART TIME. Just imagine if that kid wrestled year around! Welch is a phenomenal wrestler but let%u2019s not take anything away from Louis Bland. You are bashing a 3X state CHAMP! Are you kidding me! How on earth can anyone have anything negative to say about that?
Oh and lastly%u2026.Bland picked the %u201Ceasy sport%u201D? did you have an option to go to any Division I school to play the sport of your choice with a full scholarship?
Come on, just about anybody can get a football scholarship when they hand out 85 a team.
He is a Three time state champion and Four time finalist. All this in a single division state meet that is regarded as one of the toughest in the nation. He did not wrestle year round and played varsity football since his Freshman year. Give credit where credit is due. He is a great wrestler, great football player, great student and more importantly a great kid. Good luck to all the Central Catholic wrestlers that are seniors and moving on to the next level. Also, good luck to Adam V on his new endeavour, Pitman is lucky to have you.
Program can't be that good if a guy gets progressively worse in it.
Yes Steve is our Head coach, but our assistant coach contributed beyond recognition, and hearing that he is leaving is a tremendous loss for our team. Only because of the ethics and principles as well as morality that this DUO together has previously installed is the reason we will continue to achieve our goals and prosper as a team.
I will continue to appreciate and respect Adam for his effort and contribution to our team and I only wish him the best in his new endeavors%u2026.
