Leen and Pami wrestle a strategically sound match with Leen overcoming Pami 2-0. The slow first period features the wrestler with the longer reach, Leen, establish dominate control of Pami's head before and after tie-ups, which puts Pami’s shots out of range allowing Leen to work well timed counter shots. Not only does Leen have greater reach than does Pami; Leen also looks much larger frame-wise than Pami. During the first two periods, with Leen scoring in the second on an adequate stand-up with good hand control, Leen works at least three counter shots off his tie ups and his ferocious head attack. Leen’s hands worked like bell clappers with Pami’s head the bell. During the critical ride of the third period, Leen works fairly aggressive technique, yet receives a warning for stalling. Leen improves the appearance of his tilt attempts to allow him to finish the period on top and earn a riding time point to extend his lead. What looks like a close match is actually a fairly controlled exercise in domination by Leen over a top-notch competitor in Pami.

Wow. That was a terrible call in the first period on that takedown out of bounds. What does someone have to do to score a takedown? And the Cal Poly guy did stall out. Boo.

We need people to see this sport as exciting. That's not exciting
