I think he was like only the 6th guy to win 3, and no-one thought he could win 4 either. I have seen him since he was young and he steps it up at every level. His skills are unreal and I love watching him every time.

4x ironman champ, (which has never been done before), 4x ohio state champ, wrestles up a weight class and beats Palmer (who is also ranked #1 at 140), phenomenal on top, and one hell of a scrambler. when you mix that, and the one of the world's top wrestlers in the same room, you'd better expect to see some great results in college

david taylor is a freak - but he is certainly not the next cael sanderson. If he hopes to win 4 titles he has a long long way to go.

Tayor also beat 4X state champ Collin Palmer in 2009 after moving up from 135 to 140 for that one match. Palmer is better than that, but he was winded and not in good wrestling condition for the match. After a quick take down by Palmer, Taylor kind of methodically picked him apart and got some back points to win 8-3. A great match would have had him pitted against Logan Stieber at 130 after the state finals - if Taylor could have cut to that weight. Stieber's only loss in HS was to Taylor when Stieber was a freshman. Taylor never wrestled Grijales, but wanted to at the nationals. That match will likely never happen in college.

Waltko seemed like he was on a mission at PIAA when he dropped to 130... that State Championship was no fluke. If he is wrestling 125 in college he should be tough! Where did he end up going?
