They are probably the worst TEAM in the big ten. They do have one individual that will contend for the title in Gomez, but other than that, they are weak at pretty much every weight class. They need a new coach, need new facilities, and new recruiting process. They have a lot of young kids in that state that they could pull in if they get a new coach ( Jackson Morse-Super 32 Champ, Taylor Massa-Super 32 Runner-Up, Jordan Thomas, Freddie Rodriquez, and many others in the area). The good news is a lot of these kids have strong connections to MSU, the bad news is Coach Minkle resembles Father Time.
They did have the second highest GPA in the conference last year.
