Perry is now ranked up there with the one of the greatest leg rides ever.. he sits up there with another Mark from Michigan, Churrella that's right. I don't care what anyone says the leg ride is undoubtedly the single most painful and effective ride/pinning/techfall series on the face of this earth. I am a leg rider myself and it is demoralizing to your opponent to beat and score on him the whole match, while you just broke a sweat.
Look out for that kid from Ohio State, don't remember his name but a true freshman with good tech skills plenty of gas and horse power. Saw him against Iowa and Perry didn't wrestle they said he was hurt, beat perry's replacement 22-11 with back points. Would love to see him & Perry go at it. I'd give Perry the edge but I think it could go eather way.
how could reader not see the legs coming off the whistle... every time he reaches across the neck with his left hand and throws in the right leg, EVERY TIME
Great shrug for a TD in the first period. Perry is very long and a total beast on top with the legs, but he may have forced the legs a bit in this one and Reader was ready for it. Reader understandably got defensive and started to clam. I think Perry might have gotten the pin if he had opened the match up a little more -- especially after he was up 7 -0.
