Where did Pucillo get that mushroom haircut? Did J's parents feed him when he was little? He looks a bit malnurished

Is it just me or does it look like J was a little thin in the hair department even as a 7yr old stud.....must be the roids

What are the odds to see the future NCAA champs wrestling each other as kids?? If I was there, I would never imagine that both will be the NCAA champs!! Congrats to J and Mike!

These boys work very hard all year long. They
both took a 1st place in March 2008 at NCAA
Tournament. Jaggers at 141# and Pucillo at Heavy Weight. Jaggers won this match with a pin.
He was 7 years old and I am not sure of Pucillo's age but close to 7 years old.

does this not work for anyone else?

there is some pretty good technique in this match.

and obviously one match from 1993 ain't proof of nuffin. But before I hit play I knew jaggers was going to dominate....Maybe the kid who ended up a big boy could just have easily have one...just a thought I had.
This supports my general belief that light to mid-weights are straight up BETTER than 189 and above. I love the buckeyes, and Pucillo is slick as oil from bottom right now, but would he be a D1 champ at 157 or below? I think the skill level is higher down there. I could be wrong....I was a little guy--could just be biased.

wow, they got some intensity down at the peewee league...
Unbelieveable that those two men were ever the same size looking at them today! I have never seen that much hair on Mike Pucillo and I have been watching him for several years. Great match between two YOUNG Buckeyes!

Mike was a beefcake even back then!
John_x posted April 22, 2008 at 7:18pm.
for a kid that age, J was very impressive. considering that Mike wasn't half bad himself, J's win was pretty sweet
Fun_2_watch posted April 22, 2008 at 7:03pm.
Amazing that somebody found this. What are the odds?
Nn posted April 22, 2008 at 6:44pm.

Great Match !
My son wrestled Mike at the Copley division of Ohio Youth Wrestling a year or 2 after this video. Mike hit him with a beautiful firemans. It's great to see these kids ending up at Ohio State. And we are lucky to have Tom Ryan as coach, what an outstanding job this year!
