thompson is quick on his feet but it was a very boring match.I there not a better heavyweight to represent the USA team?

I like watching Thompson wrestle because he does not wrestle like most heavyweights, he's very quick on his feet for his size, but he seems to be pretty soft.

Thompson took 5th in Greco and 2nd in freestyle
Madison took 2nd in Greco and 5th in freestyle

I think both wrestlers went all out! Look at how hard they wrestled, can you blame them for being gassed at the end of three overtimes? Great match!

both are so gassed neither prepared for the match

What a boring match. Thompson was clearly pushing the action in this one. It's a wonder how Madison didn't get hit for stalling at LEAST three different times. Throwing the headgear at the end wasn't very sportsmanlike either. Madison was not impressive whatsoever this match. Give him a decent ref and it's over after 3 periods, easily.
