I agree that California has good wrestlers, but iowa does too and what i had been saying was in direct response to people on here saying iowa sucks bc they didnt beat usa... and I didnt mean the duel was close between the two, i meant it was one of the closest compared to the other states I believe it was 37-21 or something and i think ohio was the only state that had a duel as close
Why don't we combine 50 Countries to take on Team USA. Or maybe two, three, five states...armed with weapons "!teamchump!", cause thats the only way they get close!
it's even funnier iowa continues to accept the dream team dual. I'm sure Cael was glad that none of the iowa puds were wearing his shoes. Although I think there was an iowa kid that got his head stepped on by a Cael shoe from Welch. Great ad spot!
the year that iowa lost bad they were facing a team that had:
103 Daneil Ruiz The Woodsland Texas 114-29 The Citiadel
112 Eric Sanders Wabasha Kellogg Minnesota 166-5 4 X North Dakota State University
119 Mark Mc Knight Chartiers Valley Pennsylvania 131-12 1X
125 Brandon Hardy West Branch Virginia 150-10 1X University of Minnesota
130 Daniel Frishkorn Great Bridge Virginia 182-11 4 X Oklahoma State University
135 Ryan Lang St. Edwards Ohio 153-17 4 X Northwestern University
140 Ryan Needle Newfane New York 218-12 Ohio State
145 Jake Donar Cuba City Wisconsin 143-10 3 X Wisconsin University Madison
152 Eric Tannenbaum Naperville North Illinois 175-1 3 X University of Michigan
160 Mark Perry Blair Academy New Jersey 161-6 2 X University of Iowa
171 Jake Herbert North Allegheny Pennsylvaia 138-18 Northwestern
189 Roger Kish Lapeer West Michigan 252-2 4 X University of Minnesota
215 Matt Koz St Edward Ohio 138-11 University of Minnesota
275 Grant Miller Hononegah Illinois 161-17 2 X
Now I'm not too sure, but that is one heck of a team to try and compete with. Especially when half of the team from Iowa were 2nd and 3rd choices for the event. Heck the 103 lb kid got a call 2 days before the event and had to cut something like 15 lbs. because the other kid backed out last minute. This event has never really been a "best of the best" because it's such a struggle to get the kids to do it.
who has beaten the dream team? PA hasnt even won the Dapper Dan in awhile... and Im assuming your talking to me, but what you said didnt make much sense to me so who knows.... but Im responding to the person who said that the cali placers would beat the iowas best and thats just ridiculous when Iowa would be favored against their champs and yes iowa lost this cali kid but there arent too many seniors wrestling 103. Not really sure what you meant by W= Win and L=Loss, Im aware of that.
u need to but out buthead... and do your homework - W = win - L = Loss. Maybe thats why iowa strives to kinda blown away instead of a lot. Just Wrestle :)
that wasnt last year when Iowa got beat bad... that was a couple years ago.. and that wasnt that good of a team, also when I said that kid wasnt that good, I meant the Iowa kid... he got killed at iowa state too. and Iowa would probably be favored 9 out of the 14 matches if we had our best against your best... do your homework
the dream team is too strong. to be fair to the others only CALIFORNIA state placers should be allowed to dismantle Iowa. things are looking better last year IOWA didn't even win a match against the dream team.
This is to all you idiots that keep talking about rappo. He was not there! So quit talking about what would have happen if he was there. Sounds to me like rappo is affraid to wrestle Camacho.
Camacho is WAY overrated.
Is this folkstyle or freestyle????????
Combine the two best and they'll rock everybody else's s h i t.
