Now compare this video to the one posted in August of Winston going up a weight class and wrestling a guy who got third in his state. It proves how Welch is wrestling on technique and still dominating while Winston has been overpowering people with his enormous strength in high school.

welch will MURDER winston...ive seen both wrestle and honestly welch makes the strongest guys in his weight seem practically weak...winston is very good...but welch is just the best ever

Danz seemed to back pedal on his heels on their feet. He could have used some Wade Schalles technique on finishing that cradle. Good match by Welch

Welch v Danz, Foothill 2007

April 15, 2008
This was the final at 171 at Foothill 2007. Note the disparity in "guns" between Danz and Welch. When the bout was over they went to the end of the civic auditorium and got dressed together. No doubt one of the coolest things ever seen.
