yo oby thats a pretty like comment you might wanna check yourself or talk to a shrink about some gayness you wanna get off your chest ever hear the comment takes one to know one haha to bad he won
hey C Jack rappo cant wrestle in the Jr. Olympics cause there arent any dumb A$$ cox will wrestled in the Jr. world championships in Istanbol Turkey though
yo Cox is the one who has stayed at 112 Rappo went down to 103 to win a state title. So if you are trying to say that sissy's wrestle 112...well I guess I agree Rappo is a sissy
imo, yo, u guys r just idiots. ur intelligance level must b that of a 3rd grader. your posts show u know nothinig about wrestling, now go study ur english so u might contribute somthing constructive.
Tyler is a man among boys, he clearly won this match and is the better wrestler. How many National Titles does Rappo Have? I'll bet not as many as Tyler has, and if he does, he must have gotten some more bad calls going his way.
i won this match the ref screwed me over.. anyone that watches the match can see that i did get the takedown in the last ten seconds and i got at least 2 back.. ill whoop on rappo any day
all of you are babies... rappo is clearly the better wrestler... i am the amazing dan gable.. do not argue back.. the kid under me is a fag and sucks at wrestling
cox lost deal with it quit whining.....rappo avenged his state title loss in beating young... refs blow calls all the time thats why you dont leave it in their hands. regulation match has nothign to do with it they wrestled the tiem they had and thats that. why you people were still complaining about this into december is mind boggling get a life...go out and compete and talk when u get to that level quit being computer geeks
It's sad to see such a good / great match get blown buy a bad call. wrestlers have enough to over come just to get to this level. tyler wrestled a great match and the next time hopefully he puts more points between them so the ref can't make a call that decides the match. The ref has probably made the right call 99% of the time, just this once mybe he didn't fully see it right. GOOD LUCK TY, I'LL BE WATCHING.
cox was a clear winner. Bad call, cox totaly got squrewed on that match.i have seen better reffing in my wrestling career and i have not ben wrestling that long!
who ever thaught that rappo won that match is stupid. cox had you on your back for a count of at least 5. cox is my teammate and i kept ruting for him. so rappo you can't hide in the east forever. cox is training hard. you know that you will loose to him next time, so be ready.
Greg Im not sure but the reason Rappo didnt score the two times in the first that you were refering to was because Cox had some good scrambling defense! had this been a full regulation match Cox would have got at the very least 3 more back points if not the pin! Rappo is a tough wrestler but Cox was not handled by anyone and no doubt the ref makes a terrible call to cost Tyler Cox this match and the tournament. To bad the ref blew this match it was a good one!
Greg_x i dont know what match your watching but cox deffanitly won this match. rappo lost his leg and then grabbed it again meaning he lost any chance at control witch should have = cox winning but the reff bad call cost him... with that said i would love to see these two wrestle again be cause they are both amazing wrestlers and fun to watch ... good luck rappo have a good season
I actually would say that Rappo pretty much handled Cox except for the toss at the end of the 2nd, Cox wasn't really that close to scoring. Rappo was real close to scoring 2x in the first. I wouldn't be surprised if they wrestled again it would be this close
Cox looked to be the better wrestler although they both appeared to have honed their skills. Rappo did lose the leg, Cox continually turned things around and was the aggressor. While I am sure that the ref is highly qualified, he wasn't looking some of the time, questioned the other ref, etc. What was going on?
heck, even if Cox doesn't get the win, he at least gets the knowledge that he was in this match all the way to the end. Maybe the rankers will see this and adjust accordingly.
Well, I had two of the wrestlers here watch the match at the end too. They both think that the reversal should have been given. Basically, it could have gone either way and its a shame that the match had to end on a scramble like that. On a different day or mat, it could have gone better for Tyler.
I have been Tyler Cox's coach since he started wrestling and seen him lose some tough matches over the years. Mark Rappo is a good wrestler and has established himself as such, but this match was clearly blown by the ref. Rappo does lose the leg and grab it again which means he lost control and Tyler gets the reversal{and two nearfall?}! Ref makes the RIGHT CALL END OF MATCH! I personally hate to see any wrestler get screwed but when you travel across the country to what is billed as the "Premier Pre Season tournament" I would hope to get the best officials in the country as well.Tyler is a class act and one hell of a wrestler and should have been in the finals no doubt!
I can watch it again and again. It is very very close. Hard call to make but if you have seen this move used as often as I have, I just dont totally feel like he gained control. A few more second could have changed it, I have my roomate who also coaches with me now watching...he says too close to call too. We are both iffy. lol I guess my opinions dont really help your arguments too much but the more you see this type of scramble wrestling the more you might agree.
I'm a Wyoming fan and love Wyoming wrestling. I coach at a college in Nebraska right now. I know Cox from some of his coaches and had heard of this match before I watched it. This move the blue kid did is what we drill time and time again. We call it a High Center. Its a scramble move and when you are in control it can be a mighty weapon to use. I'm just now starting to see kids do it in high school. In college you see it all the time and a knowledgeable ref would know this situation, I'm afraid to say Cox never had control the other kid never lost his control either. He may have eventually got it but it was not arguable. I hate to say it but I agree with the ref%u2019s decision to waive off the reversal. Great match to watch. Both great wrestlers.
honesly, Cox is a good wrestler, but Rappo definetally wont this match. like somebody said before somebody did say "time" before the ref gave him 2. in a
2-2-2 match Cox would probably win? i dont know id like to watch that
you can say what u want about this match but cox was never in danger, rappo was in serious trouble at the end of both 2nd & 3rd period. regulation match rappo probablly does not survive. he is very lucky to have official in his pocket. many serious mistakes by officials late in the tourn. this was just one of many.
honestly they are both great wrestlers, cox is more overpowering but Rappo is a scrambling haywire. Did Cox maybe have the back points? yes. But all that matters is that Rappo was teh one with his hand raised, I dont care who you are winning is everything...and that is exactly what Rappo did
every time i watch this video it makes me sick how the refs cans screw kids like this cox is the deffanite winner here the mat ref signals reversal and then takes it away he cant do that unless its questionable and it wasnt questionable it was crystal clear cox won.
throw an extra minute in and rappo gets stuck! end of story. sorry ur trying to fabricate substance to solidify your therory. you don't want to accept what your eyes are showing you. cox was better on this day.
cox didnt win the match, rappo was in the middle of funking out of it as time was running out, throw an extra minute on there like a regular highschool match and rappo comes out the back and scores, cox hit the initial move and rappo was in the middle of a counter, the ref rewarded 2 a little to early and realized his mistake. rappo got his hand raised and deserved it.
Good wrestlers don't get put to their backs whether its at the beginning of ther match or just as time goes out...twice. Rappo is a good wrestler but Cox is just as good. The side official erred and the match was stolen from Cox.
if your trying to say Rappo still has control at the end of that match laying flat on his back for at least a five count because he still has ahold on Cox's leg. then you are all wet! And so is the official.
If you want to know the truth the mat judge should have never walked up to the reff and made him change his call. HE IS NOT ALLOWED to help unless asked for help on a judgment call which the referee did not.
Coaches should have no influence yelling at the referees. It's no different than a fan yelling at the referees. He called a reversal. If he watch the video he would uphold the call. What does you second comment have to do with this match? Nothing, right?
the point of the matter is that Rappo never lost control because as you can hear his coaches yelling at the end he still had Cox's leg so the call was reversed because the other offical pointed that out. for anon...it is you because im pretty sure Cox never even got a 1 count the entire match and its pretty hard to favor a kid that later lost to a kid that Rappo teched 20-5 eariler in the tournament
Wrestlingfan26 your right the score indicates he lost the match but the video clearly shows that mistakes were made by the referees. The head referee clearly motioned a reversal which in truth it was. 2 points and a win.
Is it me or did Cox not have Rappo on his back TWICE; once on Cox's takedown and at the end of the match. I would say if these 2 wrestled 10 times it would be 6-4 Cox
Is it me or did Cox not have Rappo on his back TWICE; once on Cox's takedown and at the end of the match. I would say if these 2 wrestled 10 times it would be 6-4 Cox
are we watching the same watch because i think that rappo would win 8 out of 10. if it wasn't for that throw in the second i don't think cox would have come close to another takesown rappo connected on two tds and nearly another one in the end of the 1st
Tyler Cox truly won this match i would bet if cox and rappo wrestle 10 matches cox would win at lest 8, clearly in this match the refs made a bad call and cost cox the tornament any body can see it... just watch for your self
you can clearly hear the timekeeper saying "time" at least 5 seconds before the scramble - there was obviously a time screwup on this one and the points happened after the match was over
The ref signals reversal BEFORE the 2 for takedown. Honestly, it should have been takedown and 2 nearfall. Rappo lost control of the leg for a splitsecond and regrabbed it.
2-2-2 match Cox would probably win? i dont know id like to watch that
