2006 Ibragim Aldatov vs. Asghar Ali Bazrighaleh gold medal finals at 74 kg/163 lbs. in men’s freestyle at the World Wrestling Championships in Guangzhou, China. Very rarely is the gold-medal match at the World Championships a battle between two relative unknown athletes who are both competing in their first World meet. However, at the 2006 World Freestyle Championships, this was the case when World newcomers Ibragim Aldatov of Ukraine squared off against Asghar Ali Bazrighaleh of Iran met at 74 kg.
