I have been to many World Cups. This was probably the most exciting. It was on May 5-6 the spring before 9-11. The World Championships were schedule for New York a few days after 9-11. They were canceled. New York hosted the Worlds On Sept. 12-14 2003. The Iranian team was formidable, with World champions Dabir, Joybari, and Heidari. There was large fan support from the U.S. and Iran. Zeke Jones and Kevin Jackson were coaching.
