August 23, 2009In Great 8 #7 King of the Jungle IV which was moved from LBHS to the beach just up the street Dean took this third and final match for the Championship on points 3-0. For some reason I woke up that morning with a real bad attitude and you'll hear my big mouth throughout all the matches that day. My wife wasn't feeling too great that day either so that is why some videos from that day are broken up in pieces. Dean again took this match to another level against a bigger and obviously heavier opponent. I'm usually not yelling dumb stuff from the sidline, (that day I was) I let them focus and wrestle their match and throw a word or two if they need it. In my opinion it speaks a lot of Dean's will and determination when faced with a tough challenge. The skill and natural athletic ability helps too...I'm not a big fan of the sand matches for a lot of reasons, but it is what it is - - - and it's always a different story on the mat - - - Awesome job Dean!!!
