A young team full of sophomores finishes 2nd in the Individual State tournament to William Penn by a 1.5. One more win in the Championship round and the Spartans are State Champs. Now 2x State Champ Sheldon Thomas leads the way as Joe McColgan, Bryan Perrone, Tom Spittel (all 2nd) Don Rosas, John Ziemba, and Steve Wright all provide significant points as well. Sheldon Thomas becomes the first wrestler in Spartan History to make the Asics 1st Team All American. Some old school video of Stevie B wrestling in high school is on here as well.
