damn, these guys arnt that bad actually. i would like to see them against the NY, PA, CALI or OH state champs at 160. the kid in the gold singlet looks pretty big for a 60 pounder

you have no idea how these guys would do. And please can California peeps stop claiming they have the best wrestling state. They barely have anyone on the next level do anything. Relative to their population they actually kinda suck. California has 30 or 40 million people but they manage to get half as many kids that are successful in comparison to Ohio, NJ and PA.

Who knows how these athletes would do. No one thought Johnny Thompson was going to be a 2xer.

It is always easy to mock other wrestlers, but you are comparing one of the lowest populated states to some of the biggest. I have wrestled in Alaska and in Wisconsin in high school and Wisconsin was tougher, but there are just so many more wrestlers. Alaska has its share of good wrestlers and in the state of Alaska the wrestling is getting tougher. More Alaska Wrestlers are wrestling in college (some DI) but remember how many more people NJ, PA and CA have in them. Why don’t you try supporting the wrestlers instead of mocking them.
