Wrestling 411: May 11 with Purdue All-American Jake Patacsil
May 11, 2009After finishing fifth at the NCAA Championships at 149 pounds, Purdue's Jake Patacsil was awarded the Big Ten Medal of Honor for Purdue University. The award goes to a student at each graduating class who demonstrates a proficiency in scholarship athletics. Another interesting part of Patacsil's career is he's one of five wrestling Patacsil's at Purdue. Brother Sam, dad Frank, uncle Ted and grandfather Joe were all Boilermakers. Joe was the 1950 NCAA Champion at 128 pounds. What did Patacsil have to say about his career, wrestling at Purdue and his family's wrestling lineage?
