He does Ank. I just made a compilation of him with around 35 matches and it's amazing to watch him set up his chest lock over and over again against different opponents. He will literally take a half-assed shot so that he can then limp arm out and purposely get himself into a position where the guy is in on his leg and then work his chest lock as the guy tries to improve his position. Many Americans would call this bad positioning or poor technique, but it is Dudaev's game plan and why he is a World Champion and owns several wins over Mavlet Batirov.
Well Za owns a win over Russia's #1 guy Mavlet Batirov at the world championships the year before this match. This was a horrible match for Za because he played right into Dudaev's outstanding counter offense. Dudaev was at the NYAC tourney a couple of years ago. He tossed Jesse Jantzen in one of his famous chest locks. He has to have the bst chest lock in the world.
the announcer is a complete moron and cant even pronounce the world champion Dudaev's name...oh and by the way you cant weigh higher than the weight class you are in.?! Freaking horrible!!! This announcer can scram, and dont ever come to a wrestling meet ever again.
Great match, lot of action, the Russian is 100 points better than Za. Seemed like he could score at will against Za. One of the most exciting matches that Ive seen online in a while. Would have liked to see Za win this one but I don't think he is coming close to this guy for a long time, if ever. Crazy thing is that this is not even Russias number one guy. Funny that the USA tried to give Za the second period and he still almost lost a 3 point lead. I like Za, but we need someone that will not get teched by the top guys.
